Up for sale is a fully built Eaglemoss James Bond Aston Martin DB5 1/8 scale diecast car. This item comes in its own professional road case thats been custom painted and foam fitted for the car and a 1/6 scale Sideshow James Bond figure. A mirrored turntable display base is also included but will be packed separately. As stated this is a completed build, but there’s a couple of gags on this that don’t function. FIRST: the steering wheels horn does not function when pressed, SECOND: (and this is common with this model kit) the ejector seat does not function due to poor engineering. But it is removable as well as the moon roof. THIRD: the bullet proof plate is a little difficult to lock back down into place, but does so if you tilt the car forward with allows the catch to engage. Outside of those three items every thing else works; the lights inside and out work great as well as the engine sound that revs up when you push the gas pedal. The brake lights function when the brake pedal is tapped. Gascaps, doors, hood and trunk all work great. I did a custom tin foil wrap on the mufflers and heat sink for the exhaust and lots of detail painting. Forgot to mention the guns that pop out in front, the flip out taillights, tire slashers, front and back revolving license plates and the extendable car bumpers back and front.
