Manufactured by Bamford and Martin (before it became known as Aston Martin), it was a racing car designed for the 1922 French Grand Prix. It featured a four-cylinder engine with double overhead camshafts and 16 valves in the early 1920s! The following year, the de Havilland Aircraft company fitted it with an aerodynamic body, making it one of the first cars with an aerodynamic body and designed to break the one-hour speed record for light vehicles. In 1923, an attempt was made to break the AC Cars record at the Brooklands circuit. However, the attempt failed because the front tire repeatedly came off at speeds above 160 km/h (100 mph). He continued racing into the 1950s. This interesting LSR car, presented by AML Miniatures, is made of resin as an assembly kit. The assembly in this case was carried out by ASC Model, a highly renowned assembler, resulting in a very high-quality model. An essential piece in the history of LSR cars, especially those interested in the earlier era. Also a must-have for fans of the British marque or classic British cars. Der Wagen wurde von Bamford & Martin (damals noch unter dem Namen Aston Martin) gefertigt und war ein Rennwagen, der für den Großen Preis von Frankreich 1922 entwickelt wurde. Er verfügte über einen Vierzylindermotor mit zwei obenliegenden Nockenwellen und 16 Ventilen für damalige Verhältnisse in den frühen 1920er-Jahren! , der 55 PS leistete. Im darauffolgenden Jahr rüstete die Flugzeugfirma de Havilland ihn mit einer aerodynamischen Karosserie aus. Damit war er eines der ersten Fahrzeuge mit einer solchen Karosserie und sollte den Geschwindigkeitsrekord für leichte Fahrzeuge über eine Stunde brechen. 1923 wurde ein Versuch unternommen, den AC-Cars-Rekord auf dem Brooklands Circuit zu übertreffen. Dieser Versuch scheiterte jedoch, da sich der Vorderreifen bei Geschwindigkeiten über 160 km/h (100 mph) wiederholt löste. Nachdem das Problem noch im selben Jahr behoben war, kehrte der Wagen in den Wettbewerb zurück und stellte neue Rekorde für die Meilen- und Kilometergeschwindigkeit aus dem Stand auf. Er fuhr bis in die 1950er-Jahre Rennen. Dieser interessante LSR-Rennwagen von AML Miniatures ist ein Resin-Bausatz. Die Montage übernahm ASC Model, ein renommiertes Unternehmen, wodurch ein Modell von höchster Qualität entstand. Ein unverzichtbares Sammlerstück für Liebhaber der LSR-Rennwagen, insbesondere der frühen Ära. Auch für Fans britischer Marken und klassischer britischer Autos ist er ein Muss. Este interesante coche de LSR, es el que nos presenta AML Miniatures, realizado en resina en formato de kit de montaje. El montaje en este caso ha sido realizado por ASC Model, un montador muy renombrado y por tanto nos da una calidad del mismo muy alta. Una pieza indispensable en la Historia de los coches LSR, sobre todo a nivel de historia más antigua. Tambien para los aficionados a la marca británica o aficionados a los clásicos ingleses.
